Chop Chop

Chop Chop is an IOS based app that combines cooking recipes and grocery lists into a single application. With the help of Yummly's API, users are able to search for recipes they are interested in, and get back thousands of different recipes within seconds. Once they find a recipe they like, they can see what ingredients they will need, as well as detailed instructions on how to make it. If the user is missing one of the ingredients needed to make the recipe, they can add the ingredient to their shopping list so they remember to pick it up next time they are at the store. Users can also save their favorite recipes to the "favorites" list so they can easily look back at it next time they need to make the recipe. This app was built using Xcode6/Objective-C, and all graphics were made in Photoshop and Illustrator. It uses local storage to save the shopping list to the user's phone, and Yummly's API to get the recipes, details, images, and reviews.
